Dont get gassed people im not on the AJ hypetrain or Wilder, far from it. Both are have a hell of a lot of flaws in their game. But both are far too big and powerful for a guy like Povetkin, lets all stop pretending otherwise. People are clinging onto the hope of them losing just so they can say ' i told you so' to the average casual.
Povetkin is vastly overrated

Duhaupas has since proved to be highly durable. Charr, not so much.Until proven otherwise, yes.
Wilder has only faced one opponent who was considered durable at world level (though he has been stopped before, and dropped since) and he failed to stop him. Povetkin has stopped the likes of Wach, Perez, Takam and Charr who were supposed to be durable opponents when he fought them.
I think the Stiverne, and to some extent the Duhaupas and Szpilka, fights have proved that Wilder's chin is solid. And while he can be rocked and hurt, his ability to weather a storm has not yet been called into question. Povetkin, of course, has a proven chin as well as a proven ability not to wilt under pressure, though he can also be hurt by lesser punchers than Wlad (Huck, Takam).
That's the thing which makes the fight interesting. Both fighters can hurt and be hurt by the other, and both have shown the ability to rally back from being hurt to win their fights.Comment

Who did Duhuapas prove himself to be durable against?
Helenius is wank, he couldnt stop a completely shot to bits version of Micheal Sprott a few years ago.
Not saying that Povetkin is definitely better in the chin/power areas, but he is way more proven.Comment

We will know where both Wilder and Povetkin stand very soon. I'm rooting for Wilder but it's his toughest fight to date and he could lose or knock the guy out who knows....looking forward to that fight thoughComment
