That's my only question with him as well.

Of course Brook, Hearn, and their fans would love this fight! Spence is talented but he's young, inexperienced, and fighting on Kell Brook terms in his (Brook's) back yard.

This is where it ends. Brook-Malignaggi, then vacate and fight Culcay for the WBA interim.

If its going to happen, it has to happen this year imo

After his win over Bizier, Brook pointed out that it's hard to make 147.
Spence is going to be a junior middleweight too. He's pretty big and still growing. I think 154 would be more his natural weight class.

Brook is a master boxer/puncher who has clearly improved since the Carson Jones days. The only concern I have if I am a Brook backer is with the kind of thudding powerful lefts that Spence throws, if he lands like Senchenko and Jones did, both of whom had him hurt, how does Brook keep Spence from landing again. And Spence backers might be concerned by the fact that Spence was clearly hurt by Lartey, a guy who does not have the same power and sharpshooting as Brook. This fight would answer who can take the best punch, that is certain. I simply cannot pick a winner here.

Spence has no fear I'm sure. But Kell Brook is not Ricky Burns. I'd like to see Spence face a couple more tough opponents, preferably with a big punch before he faces Brook.
