I think your point works against your argument. Crawford's jab and attack are more similar to Floyd's in that he is very effective with his reach and hops right back out of danger. It's not about Floyd's reach at all. Floyd doesn't just rely on reach like someone who "fights tall", it's about the way he uses his feet, shoulders, hips, and movement to maximize his offense. Spence's footwork in no way resembles Mayweather. I don't think Manny is anything like either Terrance or Errol.
Terence Crawford vs Errol Spence Jr - who wins?

Right now I think its hard to have much basis to say Spence wins outside of his size advantage, but I feel like he does. I mean Algieri is a guy who's gotten a couple good W's, but he's never looked like a world beater. So while its impressive Spence did what he did, its a whole couple steps up the ladder to do that to a guy like Crawford who's a P4P discussed guy in his own right. All the talent this kid has suggests he has big upside & Algieri is just the first step towards him showing the world that talent doe. I can't wait to see what Spence does over the next 12 months or so. Should be an exciting time in his progression.Comment

His strategy tonight is the same one Jennings used against Ortiz and it's the reason they both got their bell rung. JDJ is trying to turn light hitting fighters into maidana. Not even Kovalev fights like how algierie and Jennings have recently, and he has massive power. Why is that? Listen it was a very good win by spence but he beat a fighter who was tailor made for him. Go back and watch how he fought Ruslan or manny. He's not the same guy. He employed the strategy he had versus khan, against a guy who is a butcher.
Algierie nearly got knocked out in 90 seconds versus Ruslan. What did he do? He adjusted mid round. JDJ couldn't even get this guy to adjust in between rounds. I'm a big fan of JDJ but his ideology is wrong for guys like Chris. It's the wrong approach. If he trained him for his fight versus Ruslan we wouldn't Even know Chris' name because he wouldn't have made it past the first round.Comment

You still didn't explain what his strategy was. You keep saying his strategy was different. What was his strategy? Do you think he should've moved more? Spence took his legs away in the first round with those body shots. Algieri legs started shaking after the first solid body shot Spence landed halfway thru the first. From that point on Algieri was in front of Spence the whole night because those body shots kept him stationary. There wasn't any adjustments that could've been made. The only game changer would've been power and Algieri doesn't have that. His strategy tonight is the same one Jennings used against Ortiz and it's the reason they both got their bell rung.
