I respect any fighter who can retire healthy and on their own terms. The sport shouldn't retire you.

The guy fought literally sparring partner level opposition before Lomachenko. Not even B-level or even C-level.

The problem is he was paid too well all of those joke fights so at 28 he's ready to retire now LOL.

No I'd be happy to see him fight big fights for a few more years. Just feel like he wasted a bunch of years. It seemed like he was "Prospect of the Year" like 3 years in a row not that long ago, and now he's retiring LOL. It's just a sign that the sport is F'd up

I could see a shorter career becoming the normal. It's their lives and I don't see much wrong with it.
