in every thread i see you comment you bring 0 value and only insults so welcome to my ignore list... only the 2nd person to ever make it there so far.
    Tyson is "5-10" with a 70IN reach
    Floyd is "5-8" with a 72IN reach
    Golovkin "5-10" with a 70IN reach
and Paul Williams is 6ft with a 79Inch reach

three different fighters three different weight class that why most boxing fan should put weight before height and reach

I think this thread is hinting that Floyd ducked the mighty Vyacheslav Senchenko . . .

i understand that, i am not attacking floyd i think he is a great fighter, i am however stating that he had some size advantages... whether it was reach or height or both in almost every fight.

I can also clearly see some people are built like short stalky tanks (Tua and Tyson) or more medium built (like GGG and Canelo) or lankier fighters like Floyd (or more extreme versions like Jesse Hart, Paul Williams etc.)

Even Tyson had a hard time vs. Taller fighters even though they all fought in the heavyweight division and in some cases were similar in weight.

To say that only weight matters in boxing is ignorant in my opinion.

What's even funnier is ''Floyd fans'' can sit back and laugh for any sarcastic ridicule. That's not the problem. The problem is when other fighters get ridiculed and people assume they're Floyd fans. It's the best! But people from all shades learn from social experiments either way.

I understand what your saying but height and reach is easier to over come then weight

Floyd haters will never get the paradox.

Apparently for many dumb-ass-casuals-fans don't realize or acknowledge that a fighter who was groomed into boxing by his family members as a toddler, some of which fought some great boxers and one being a world champion, would have any influence to Floyd's skills.

In other words. I think people favor the ATG that didn't have the advantage like Floyd. Which is ironic because you'd think pure boxing skills would be learned from the guys who are good as well.

that is a good one to debate... i agree to an extent.. Would floyd be able to overcome the weight difference vs. Tyson... hell no. they might be similar in height and reach but tyson would punch the pretty out of floyd.

However Tyson wouldn't be able to make 154 lbs weight (which is the highest weight Floyd fought in). I think Floyd would struggle more vs. good fighters his own weight who who have height and reach advantage vs. fighters who are heavier fight night but smaller sized in height and reach.

As an example, i give a prime Winky Wright a better chance at beating floyd then pretty much anyone Floyd fought.

floyd's skill was never questioned. I've seen a video a while ago where he was teaching someone on how to counter the jab... it was beautiful... this is a discussion about size... that's all.

Floyd's resume is weak as ****. Didn't fight a single ATG in their prime at their natural weight.

Duran defeated Ray Leonard who was much taller with great boxing skill (btw not even a duran fan, cab driver resume and losing ur highest profile fights much?)

Who the fk has Floyd defeated who fit that criteria?
Corrales, ODH? Corrales was an inside fighter.
Who has he beaten apart from an old ODH who had a solid left jab and possessed boxing skill?
He beats guys that fit his style and who has shorter reach than him and almost always shorter

Its harder to do a pull and counter when an opponent knows how to use reach.
He made himself an ATG with smart match making, and avoided tall atheltic boxers like the plague or actually tall boxers in general.

Whats hilarious is that he actually had the oppurtunity to fight one guy who was atheletic, tall with speed and he ducked him like the f**kin plague. And he wasnt even supposed to be on his level.
                      That was amir khan

P4P of last 25 years? Get the f**K outta here
he didnt even beat oscar IMHO, but you are right that wasnt nearly the best version of oscar... but to be fair to floyd, i still consider him an ATG just like oscar...
