GGG is fighting his IBF mando next and if he beats Wade, which he almost certainly will, he'll very likely be picking up the WBC title by default soon after that.

That means means more belts on the line, a bigger fight, and more money for Jacobs when he makes his move on GGG.

Jacobs and Haymon seem happy enough waiting till then, and it's easy to see why.
Loeffler and company aren't even mentioning Jacobs name as a possible opponent if Canelo pulls out. They seem enough to not fight him. They should be pushing for the WBA to call the mandatory if the Canelo fight falls thru. That's the easiest fight to make.

I agree. Thirteen year old girls with a crush. They're even searching the internet for pictures of GGG as a schoolboy. It's creepy.

I don't know how you are such a coward.
Froch was a very late developer.

He got better after the super 6 and losing to Ward- as proven by his 3rd fight with Kessler - which was why Andre didn't want to give him a rematch till he showed signs of slipping against Groves.

What they said: "we'll fight anyone from 154-168"

What they meant: we'll fight anyone from 154-168 as long as we dictate all terms, as long as we get the lions share of the money, and as long as your name isn't Andre Ward.

Kicking 35 in the azz and not one A list opponent yet.

If you think the pro Mexican WBC is gonna strip Canelo, you're lying to yourself.

If he wanted the fight this summer, Jacobs would be pushing the WBA to call a mandatory himself!

It's obvious to any unbiased observer that Jacobs doesn't want to fight GGG yet.
