Lara said he will go up to 160 to fight lil g. Now look at the response and the level of interest when Lara said that from these dudes. They didn't seem eager at all to fight an A plus boxer like Lara at 160. But when it comes to Cotto, Froch, Canelo, Floyd, Chavez jr. these dudes were pretty much begging for the fight.

Chavez jr, Floyd, Froch Hopkins, Now Kell Brook, Don't fight at 160 so what happened to just wanting the belts? If they claim they want to fight the best and build legacy LIKE THEY Said. Why not Ward at 168? Why not call him out like they did Froch and Chavez jr, and say we want that action with Ward at 168?

They want that action with Floyd at 154! These dudes are some clowns. They claim Lara doesn't have a name but are fighting Wade an unkown fighter who has not gone a full 12 rounds as a professional. They could have easily fought a better opposition or at least put pressure on- Lara, or Jacobs, and call them out and see if they want to fight. Call Lara's bluff.

Oh "Wade is the Mando tho" get that stuff outta here. Canelo is not fighting his mando and still holding them belts. He might not fight lil g next and if he wants to I bet he still has those belts. lil g is a decent fighter, he really needs to fire his team and start building his legacy. If his career ended today he has one of the worse resumes among champions.

If you look at his resume it is complete filth. Straight terrible, he has a chance to fight: Lara, Ward, Jacobs, DeGeale and really claim a serious legacy. I guess fighting c- fighters is cool with him.

Lil g gets exposed the moment he stops fighting c- level fighters. That's a promise
Well no ****, those are much bigger fights. You follow boxing much? That's how it works, guys angle for the biggest names esp if you gotta make weight concessions. Those are/were all major draws, as opposed to Lara who turns back fans while demanding star wages.

If Lara really wanted the GGG fight, hed

    1. Contact Gggs promoter first to try to make it happen. They always say they would when promoting their next yawner, they never do. Loeffler even called them out on it, no response
    2. If no interest, get that IBF mando position. Could have already beat Wade for it
    3. If he wants a better guaranteed split, grab that WBA interim from Jacobs and enforce the mando finally, its overdue

I think a lot of people have now caught on to their sales tactics, I mean it worked for a while like for Margarito but in the end people caught them out.

Get off lil g's nutts first of all. They have to make their mind up. Either they just want the belts at 160. Are they want to fight the best. When it came to fighting Floyd at 154 it was about the wanting to fight the best.

If you want to fight the best why not Ward at 168? Being that you will suck lil g off if he allowed you to that logic doesn't make sense.

And Lara said he would move up to 160 so lil g wouldn't have to do a catchweight for that fight. Once again how eager did Sanchez and Loeffler seem to make that fight?

The moment- Froch, or Chavez jr said something these dudes won't shut up. lil g is a fraud, scared to fight a real legit opponent. Lara outboxes lil g easy. Ward beats the living shyt out of lil g. I know this, you know this, and they know this.

There is a reason lil g and team was willing to go up to 168 and fight Froch and Chavez jr but not Ward. Ward whoops his ass. At the end of the day if Ward and lil g fight at 168 Ward demolishes him.

lil g was on the verge of fighting big ass Chavez jr who weighs around 190 plus on fight night and Froch who is about the same size as Ward. So I'm not trying to hear that. lil g is a fraud get off his nutts

              Well that's on him.
              Wrong as usual.

Ward raised his hand in May of 2014. Canelo hadn't even fought Erislandy Lara yet.

"Golovkin’s built his reputation on saying he’ll fight anybody. I raise my hand and say I’m somebody. Let’s do it. [But] nothing. And then they circumvent and try to go to Chavez. First they said we’re going to stay at 160 and clean it out. Then Chavez fell through and now it’s something else," Ward would tell BoxingScene and other members of the media.

First off, they were after Froch and Chavez back in 2014, well before he was Wbc mando to Cotto_then Canelo, even bigger fights. Ward was nowhere to be found, till his rousing stoppage of a fat Paul Smith on BET one year later.

IMO Lara has zero chance of winning vs GGG. Small chance of going the distance, but not winning any rounds with his output. Only intrigue is if he can run his way to the finish line. I get for some that would be a great win, but not for the TV network, esp at 2m or whatever Lara wants

Were seeing Joshua take a risk , Khan is taking a risk....maybe triple GGG needs to take a risk to get to the top...he can either get K2 to dig really deep in there pockets and secure a Jacobs or Saunders ...or deal with canelo and say ok if it's the only way to get you in the ring.....it's a 157 catchweight lets go champ ...see what chicken boy has to say after that, golovkin can get the WBC title through the mandatory route but I would rather see him break the ginger bread man into pieces.....WAR GOLOVKIN
