Thats disturbingly low for Showtime isn't it? Although its not unsurprising when you barely show any cards for the last 12 months.

It did better than some of their night time broadcasts.

This really has not effect on Joshua over in the UK. IIRC, that fight was PPV over there, so it may have done well domestically.

Still, that is pretty bad for Showtime. I tuned in to see Joshua and was satisfied.

Damn, I remember when Broner-Maidana did like 1.3 million on Showtime. What the hell is going on?

I think it's because they are basically unknown fighters and Showtime doesn't promote the cards as hard as HBO does theirs, or so it seems.

Terrible ratings continue to bottom out for Showtime. And before anyone says it's low because it was an afternoon broadcast remember this aired basically the same afternoon time as Fury/Klitschko on HBO which did over 1mil viewers. Showtime is in serious trouble this is basically 1/4th what Fury did and for over a year now Showtime's boxing viewership has been slashed by more then half what it was just over a year ago (Pre PBC launch and the split from Golden Boy). Those 2 factors have killed Showtime boxing.
