  • Well done Joshua. I'm delighted to see him pick up a world title

Martin is what i expected to be honest.
Bigger things and bigger tests to come in Joshua's career. The guy is going to be hard to beat...i'm excited to see how things pan out.

AJ is as big as Wlad but more athletic and powerfull, I wouldn't bet my house on Haye and his weak chin, Haye is a fast tremendous puncher bur that's it.

Is David Haye a more proven heavyweight than AJ?
The best HW he has beaten might be the Giant Valuev, a freak who got schooled by Chagaev, or maybe Chisora??
Is Haye a more proven heavy? Don't make me laugh. The men you mentioned are better than who Joshua has fought. Haye is a more proven professional, regardless of his record at heavyweight. The thing is, Haye's chin stood up to what Wlad could offer even if it has shown to be suspect at times. Haye was too small for Wlad but Wlad wasn't able to land anything. I see Joshua trying to engage way more than Wlad did, potentially exposing himself to getting knocked out himself. Not a fight Joshua should take this early.

It's obvious he wanted no more. Took a huge pay cheque in exchange for his belt, dude may as well have been Maliki Scott, fake ass chump masquerading as a champ.

All that trash about ' I walk this earth like a god ' horse shyt. Martin walked out the ring with his tail between his legs and his testicles in his wallet.

If they were to fight tomorrow, Haye would knock AJ's jaw clean off. If a slow-ass Dilian Whyte (a poor man's Derek Chisora) can turn your legs to jelly from cuffing shots with no technique, then you're in serious trouble against someone like Haye who punches with speed, sharpness and power. Remember, he knocked out the senses of an iron-chinned Chisora who, only a fight before, wouldn't shift an inch in the 12 rounds Vitali Klitschko spent with him.

He can compete with anyone I agree, but I still think Haye beats him and Fury too. Wilder doesn't beat him Wilder gets stopped imo. It's just annoying hearing all the hype even though he's done nothing yet. Stop over hyping the guy before he's achieved it. The guy has just had it a little too easy, even with the olympics where he arguably shouldn't have been in the final and definitely should have lost the final. For gods sake if you add up Joshua's amateur and pro fights even I've had more than 20 more fights than him. He needs to learn and I think his promoters need to slow him down a bit before stepping in against the very top guys.
I'm not "People who act as if", I form my own opinions. Twice you have mentioned your annoyed hearing the hype. In that case, just watch the fights and quit occupying yourself with people and the media who hype fighters. That isn't going away, ever. There will always be fighters who are hyped or over hyped. Again, regardless of what you think about his AM or Pro career, he has arrived and is a top heavyweight who has a chance against Fury, Wlad, Haye, Wilder or anyone as much as they have against him. He didn't even have to crack out his combination punches and still won easy. He is on of THE ONLY top heavyweights who punches in combinations. I would rather watch him than Fury and Wlad lumber with practically a non-existent punch stat.

                They are supposed to.

If the 10 count ends while you're getting up, you're out. The ref isn't supposed to slow his count or stop it because you're on the way up at 9 and a half.

Agreed, yet if Joshua wants to be legitimised it pains me to say it but he likely needs Haye as much as Haye wants that easy payday. The Brits would likely buy Briggs vs Joshua, Briggs knows the money is in the UK likely just playing Haye and Hearn has this one set up for July 9th, Joshua to stop Briggs then fight Wilder in Vegas.

Kell Brook has a win over a very good Shawn Porter and is having a hard time getting the other top guys at 147 to step in the ring with him.
Eubank is another guy who got passes because of his father but really isn't that good. He wings wide and got beaten by Saunders who basically just threw jabs. A jab was enough to beat the man. Yes he's improved but if it wasn't for his father he'd be talked about as a contender and nothing else, with everyone knowing he'd never be a truly world class fighter.

Shawn Porter is a decent though not great win, but it's Kell Brook's only notable win. And Brook spent 10 bloody years beating nobody's in England before that. 10 years wasted. Since then he's fought three absolute bums. I don't care who is ducking him, the three fighters he picked shows exactly what type of man he is, a man who won't fight anybody but scrubs unless it's for big money.
