Now he's getting a reported 7 figure deal, which I would assume is more than $1.21M plus PPV upside and it's against the 2nd best guy in his weight and it's for a belt... But he wants more money?

He had no problem taking a tune up fight for over $1M, but with Postol all of a sudden figures isn't enough? Who does he think he is?
That logic is the equivalent getting a Promotion and accepting a Paycut

Lets not pretend like HBO and Arum and Struggling Financially. Not the Boxers job to do their Promoter and the Network they fight on "Favors" because last time I checked those are not the people fighting

It's not that simple. Postol brings absolutely nothing to the table. People are buying tickets to this fight to see if Crawford is as good as they say he is. Crawford is bringing in the fans, Postol is the opponent. He probably wants a larger split.

I don't agree with it (I am already preparing for my jump of the Crawford bandwagon) but that's the type of stuff that goes on behind closed doors.

Something common about these ducking cases, other than the obvious. Lomachenko/Walters, Kovalev/Stevenson, and now Postol/Crawford... the other side seems to be content in the money aspect.

None of them bring anything to the table. Crawford isn't a star or anything close to being one. This is just a good, competitive matchup between two beltholders.

this is why you got to keep certain fights away from vegas until its worthy!! that city just boils all of your corruption to the top. you start to think you are on a king on top of the world. crawford tweeted the other day about being in vegas and walking the strip. dude got gassed up!! Las Vegas will change a brother.

Some can handle the Vegas lights, some can't. Prince Naseem never recovered from his Vegas hangover.

Exactly, this is why I said too many people are blaming Crawford and not Arum/HBO. They're the ones who got Crawford comfortable with 7 figure mismatches. They created the beast. Though, they had little choice. I'm sure Crawford sees how much Haymon fighters are making. Gotta keep Bud happy, and if that means scrapping a meaningful fight for a 7 figure mismatch so be it.

I think it's kind of unfair when reporters / bloggers spreads news (often inaccurate) about fight negotiations before the respective fight camps get a chance to make statements.

All this fuss over speculation, unless Top Rank or Crawford corroborate this information no one knows what's really going on.
