Lennox Lewis - Best Heavyweight Resume Ever

Let's be honest, Lennox Lewis has to be considered the best heavyweight boxer ever, mainly based on the fact that he has the best heavyweight resume ever.

In one of his earliest fights, he fought undefeated KO machine Gary Mason.
He would later defeat legends like Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield.
And who else would, out-of-prime and overweight, be able to beat a prime Vitali Klitschko?

He also defeated lots of other good opponents.

To make matters even more impressive, he avenged both of the only two defeats he suffered in his career.

He was tall and with an extremely long reach, having longer arms than even guys like Vitali who are taller than him. He had punching power, he had skills, he had the heart of a warrior. Lennox Lewis the best heavyweight ever and I would favour him against any heavyweight in history.

I hope that if anyone disagrees, they're going to bring some very, very good arguments for doing so.

Ali has the best heavyweight resume bar none.

          Vitali would beat Foreman.

So no, even Ali doesn't have a greater resume.

If Fury beats the Joshua-Martin winner, Haye and the Wilder-Povetkin winner, all while looking as untouchable as he has done in his last 3 fights against Klitschko, Chisora and Hammer, then his size, defense and resume combined would certainly form an image of him being among the best ever.

The same goes for Joshua, if he beats Martin, Haye, Fury and the Wilder-Povetkin winner. Especially if he keeps knocking out everyone while doing so.

Another non Fury & Joshua thread, successfully hijacked.

              Sigh.

i dont know whether he has the best resume ever but H2H he is definitely a monster and would pretty much would run through everyone's resume in most cases, though i think he would struggle with prime George Forman... in fact i think everyone would struggle with prime George Forman.

keep in mind that the fighters of yesterday can only be compared to the fighters of yesterday, its a different game now, different nutrition, different conditions, different training regimes, different landscape all together... even different rules in the sport.
