I'll have to check up on a few of his fights. To me Frampton is one of the most skilled around that weight area, but russell jr is good (fast) and obviously rigo. Valdez is looking pretty good on the come up too. IMO I thought Selby would be a good fight for Valdez, to see who is the real deal and ready for bigger things.

EDIT: thanks for the points mate!
Selby is the real deal. As is Russell.

Watch Selby, I'm a huge Frampton fan, a bigger Frampton fan. I just wouldnt fancy Selby losing that fight. Like I said, their are levels in boxing, fine lines between certain levels but often clear differences. Heart will get you so far, as will work rate, skills separate the top echelon of fighters, Selby has more skill than Frampton he also has an eloquent elusiveness he hasn't either.

He's probably the best pure boxer in the U.K unless I'm as massively over looks somebody I stand corrected.

Fighting behind the jab doesn't mean he excels off the back-foot. LSC's jab is best used in an offensive manner: to begin and end his various head/body combinations. At some point, an in-fight will break out and if Frampton's endurance/stamina isn't up to par, he could get drowned.

        • LSC gonna WIN EASILY. Tiny Frampton is gonna get bullied and tosses around the ring like a ragdoll lol. Fights gets stopped within 6.

            • Can't wait for this man, one of the best fights of the year. I got Frampton in a close decision.

I see it going a bit like Cotto vs Margs 1 without the stoppage, Frampton will bite down and get the decision.

              • Really hard to pick this one.

Frampton is far more skilled and generally the much better boxer, but stylistically it's a tough fight for him. LSC is big, has a long reach, has excellent stamina and a really good chin...Frampton needs to make sure he doesn't slow down this time.

                • LSC should win this easy. He's too big to lose against a defense first fighter like Frampton.

                  • I got Santa Cruz TKO'ing the jacket late.

Too much pressure for Frampton who's never fought anybody with Santa Cruz's pace. Frampton was looking bad late in the quigg fight once Quigg went for broke.
