Based off styles Spence will take Algieri's shots to land with no fear of getting rocked because Algieri is not known as a puncher . its match making 101. Build your guy's rep against a name. I believe Spence will stop Algieri late with some vicious body shots. This fight is designed to look challenging on paper and for Spence to shine on terrestrial TV against a recognized opponent.

Broner needs to fight at 143 bringing up blown up lightweights the moment he faces a decent 140 fighter at 140 or moves up to 147 he'll start looking poor and losing again.

Algieri has survived some tough fights, but the guy he is fighting now is much bigger and stronger than any of those past fights. Neither Provo, Khan, or Pac (at the time they fought) were/are legit welterweights. In fact I think the Khan fight was the only one that actually took place at 147 (Provo at 140 and Manny at 144). Spence will stop this guy late in a relatively noncompetitive fight.

But Algieri will definitely hang in there and show some moxy, like he always does.
Algieri is the type of opponent Broner should be looking at, the dude can't punch at all, same reason why Khan was so eager to face him, Broner should line up the same guys Khan has fought over the last two years.
