I thought Algieri is garbage when Pacman and Khan fought him. Now all of a sudden he's a monster.

On paper this is supposed to be an easy fight for a young, prime lion like Spence.

This is a 50/50 fight for me and I could bet my money on either side. Algieri is clearly the more experienced and most likely learned a lot from the high profile fights he's been in. He did well in the Khan fight, but not in his last fight, which was the opposite of what I expected. Although he lost and won respectively in those fights.

Nevertheless, it will be a huge win for both.

He's no monster. But any person with 2 eyes can see that Chris changed his whole approach going into the Khan fight.

Which is why it's so weird that people are just giving this win to him. Algieri is so far above anyone that Spence has ever fought. If Spence wins this easily, he'll have done something only Pacquiao has done.

I don't get why everyone assumes this will be a cakewalk. Lots of talented fighters have fallen on their faces when stepping up like this. All that speed and power and skills might suddenly vanish.
