Such a bad night for Finnish HWs. :wah1: Juho Haapoja also got KTFO on the same card.

And Nikolai Firtha was only one of a handful of men to rock the world heavyweight champion (and go the distance with Povetkin).

What this fight proved was that Helenius was the fighter that many on this site thought. He was just a big stiff European level HW. I mean this guy couldn't even Knockout Michael Sprott ffs. Sprott's been KOed 16 times in his career and Helenius couldn't even finish him. If it wasn't for the gift decision he got against Chisora, this guy would be out of the sport by now.

I didn't catch the fight yesterday but I have been watching clips on youtube of the fight. Helenius never really got his mojo back after numerous layoffs in last several years. He put on a lot of extra weight as a result his movement declined and his punches don't have the 'snap' they once did. But credit to Duhaupas for that gritty and 'grind out' performance where he took some good shots but was effective with his comeforward pressure offense.

Great win for Duhaupas. He deserves full credit.
