This is gonna be a nasty fight.

The speed difference between these two is pretty big. I don't think Briggs will even see the punches coming. I'm telling you, it's gonna be brutal.

You shouldn't joke about the British casuals, they will literally swallow anything you put in their mouths. The mentality of soccer fans is not to be trifled with, I hope you've never sang ten German bombers at a German boxing event featuring a Brit Denium, I will hold you in a lower esteem if you have.

What's with the Bellew avatar, you're not a big fan are you ?

You could be right but I'm not so sure...Haye had a hard time landing a lot on Valuev and he is even slower than Briggs. That being said the triangle theory doesn't mean ****, perhaps it was just Valuev's height that was causing Haye issues.

Shannon Briggs makes me think of Ken Shamrock every time I see him.

Looks absolutely ridiculous - big yet lean and vascular, really good aesthetically despite being 100 years old.

Then I realize he's old, he can't move, and all the abs in the world won't stop you from folding like a cheap chinese car when you get hit.

David Haye will turn Briggs' face into a fine slurry, a bowl of paste.

If they allow 7,000 times the legal amount of Testosterone in the UK then the fights a go...

Eventually someone is gonna actually let Briggs get a fight whether he actually deserves it or not. Eventually someone is gonna get tired of having all their public appearances crashed by Briggs screaming "Let's Go Champ" nonstop.

Only thing Briggs did was beating some out of shape yourneymen since loosing to Klitschko. But still i should not call any fighter a bum thats right. I do apologize for that and hope i can still continue to live.
He is only ranked in the WBA top 10 because he holds the NABA regional trinket & he was pretty active for awhile even if it was against weak opponents. The NABA belt gets the holder a top 15 ranking. He dropped from 4 to 7 because his activity level dropped off. He needs to fight again soon. If he doesn't defend that NABA title soon he will drop out of the top 10 & get stripped of that title. If he can't land Haye soon I expect him to fight a journeyman from North America or try & pick up another vacant regional belt so he can keep a decent ranking. Briggs has not won a fight against a C level fighter since Liakhovich. 10 years since he beat a good journeyman. Liakhovich was a B level guy back then but his best win since 2006 is Rob Calloway or Raphael Zumbano Love. That says it all & it is beyond me how he got the fight with Vitali Klitschko. Where would Briggs be if he didn't get that gift in the Foreman fight? That turned into 3 title shots...

Valuev is 7 feet tall & 320lbs. I don't think you can ever prepare for that. It was really quite shocking that Holyfield should have got the win. Valuev was slow as a turtle but his size was a huge factor & he wasn't easy to hit. He puts up a guard with his elbows down & there isn't much of a target. Valuev never fought any of the big contenders. It would have been interesting to see him fight Fury, Wilder, Helenius or the Klitschkos. Fighters who were 6'5 or taller. Even then a guy gives up 6-7 inches... Ustinov is similar in size. Ustinov vs Valuev would of been interesting...I think Haye would destroy Briggs. He wouldn't see anything coming & this version of Haye is a solid 230lbs not the blown up cruiserweight at 210...
