Ward vs. Dawson : 8919 attendance (7611 paid)

    Ward vs. Rodriguez: 4,158 (paid)

Ward vs. Smith: 9,016 attendance (no clue on who paid and who didn't, although I assume a lot of tickets were given for free)

    Ward vs. Barrera: 8,532.

Keep in mind that all these fights were in California, the Rodriguez fight was the only one that wasn't in his hometown...

Now GGG, who doesn't have a hometown base...

GGG vs. Lemieux : 20,568 attendance (Fight was at MSG in NY)

GGG vs. Monroe: 12,732 attendance (Fight was at the Forum in California)

GGG vs. Murray: 900 attendance (Fight was in Monaco) - That's his lowest figure

GGG vs. Rubio: 9,323 (sell out) - (Fight was at the StubHub center in Cali)

Before you say "The Ticket prices were cheaper" Nope. They were the same with the exception of the Golovkin Lemieux fight in which they were slightly more expensive.

GGG's fight with Wade is already projected to do well over 10,000, maybe even 12,000.

His ratings for the Wade will also end up smashing Ward's.

Now that being said, anyone who justified the requested 164lb catchweight (myself not included) on that basis has to eat a little crow now in the form of a GGG/Canelo catchweight because Canelo is clearly the A side.
Not at all. If Canelo vacates, 157 is just fine.

Completely different, casuals don't buy PPV.

            Ward vs Barrera:
            1) Ward comeback fight.
            2) Ward's 1st fight at 175.
            3) Ward's test before Kovalev.
            4) Ward's fight agaisnt a fighter trained by Abel Sanchez, here comes GGG name.
Combined pay for the fighters: 2.3 mil

            GGG vs Monroe jr
            1) GGG's test against slicky southpaw.
            2) GGG's "keep in shape" fight.
Combined pay for the fighters: 1.5 mil

            ...and math
            2.3 > 1.5
            1 064 < 1 333

Ward is a great fighter. Ward is not economically feasible.

The drama I was talking about was between the fighters, whats on here is the internet at its purest. Especially when you consider that its a niche environment and everyone knows one another's profiles and history it makes sense that posters would get petty more sooner than later.

Ward-Barrera was a great display of pure boxing that isn't appreciated by all, yet it still pulled 1mil. Impressive.

With that said, I still find Ward to be an unlikeable dork whom I hope gets Krushed by Killa Kov.
                  ... I don't hope -- I'm sure...

                    Whooopeee!

Trolling and playing silly games is much more fun than discussing boxing, innit.

                    Pity I can't join in ....

It's almost inconceivable that these same turds (kafaog, Bando, MPpop, etc) are in this thread trying to spin something negative! The same idiots that made their BET jokes have no ammunition left but they shamelessly spoil any credibility they might have had. Let go of the hate folks! It only makes you look the fool!

This ggg vs Ward #'s thing, are people forgetting how ggg is an HBO product that they've been building for a few years now?? The fact that Andre pulls comparable #'s despite a huge hiatus speaks for itself (not that I care about that but if they're trying to argue it, the facts are not in their favor).
If your last bits of integrity rely on ggg out-selling Ward, you should find something better to do with your life because you're losing this game.
