people are into drama, that's why the majority of them even tune in, the actuall boxing fans who appreciate whats happening in the ring is a smaller number. the man has skills I think that should be the focus hes at the top of the list concerning boxing skills. of course he will have to turn himself into a ******** to get higher numbers n more attention but I think he should keep doing what hes doing the rest will take care of itself, he looked amazing but a bit rusty, him vs kov will be a great fight

people cant relate to fighter who doesnt score kos and still makes it look easy
people will watch someone they hate to see them lose...Ward is too nice of a guy not to seem foolish hating lol

Ward is to blame, he just isn't a draw. this is old news he can't sell out his own hometown. crawford proves that people prefer KOs thus he selling out his hometown arena. times have changed when the sweet science was appreciated for the actual craft. not to mention that oakland sucks, people don't want to go there.

You have to appeal to casual fans to fill an arena, no question.
Ward does NOT appeal to casual fans, so Wards only chance is to do a 'Mayweather'. You fight the most popular fighters....(Gatti, Hatton, De la Hoya, Canelo, Cotto etc...) so the opponents fan base fills the arena. Then brag about your fights breaking records for all the wrong reasons....

Its Lil G's fault for not backing up his bark with a viscous bite....imagine the turnout for a SOG vs Lil G rumble
