lol all the GGG nut huggers are trying to justify.

Max keller: You told me yesterday you are willing to go from 154 all the way up to 168, are you willing to fighting anyone from 154-168??

GGG: yeah of course, ANYONE, of course!!!

wont fight ward at 168, so obviously GGG lied.

GGG wants ward at a catchweight of 164, but wont fight canelo at 155 catcweight.

triple G can give catchwieght demands but wont fight at a catchweight when called out to one.

****** GGG nut huggers say GGG can dictate ward because ward is inactive and isnt a huge draw. he cant dictate canelo though, canelo is active and a way bigger star. but GGG nuthuggers say its not true.

how is GGG most avoided fighter when both ward and canelo want to fight him.

      justify this GGG nut huggers.

i want to hear your outrageous claim.

I'm a fan of both fighters, personally I think neither ducked the other - they're in two different weight classes! I know GGG was willing to move up to fight Froch but he didn't and there was never a point when Ward and GGG were in the same division. GGG can make 160 easy and there's no need for him to move up, likewise Ward can't move south of 168 so that shouldn't be held against him. Ward has proven far more in his career and has now moved onto bigger and better things. Ward to me will always be superior to GGG but that doesn't mean GGG isn't good either.

i mean i get that the money might not be 15 million even tho i think it would been way bigger fight then team ggg is admitting but at what point does ggg take a fight out of his comfort zone? obviously the fight doesnt make as much sense now unless ggg moves to 168 but it just seems like for a guy who is supposed be most avoided he sure has a lot of excuses on why not to fight anyone unless they are smaller

Wonderfully said. Boxing is a business. This is prizefighting.

You can like Ward all day, heck I don't dislike the guy, he is an outstanding boxer, was a great Olympian, and is known as a pretty good guy all around. What he isn't, is a big draw, boxing wise. The guy has a fanbase that makes cover band fanbases look like a Metallica fanbase. I live 20 mins from ROARacle and I didn't even go. Not proud of that, as I believe in supporting boxing period, but just saying.

Froch is a name. Ward is the better boxer, yes. but in this sport, unless he is holding titles, or a cash cow, that isn't a fighter a guy like GGG who is after the money fights now is going to take. That isn't being afraid, that's being intelligent. Bradley did the same thing, he fought Pac for the big bucks. It was a smart move then, and it still remains so today.

It totally would be a step backwards, and the onus is on Ward, who has been inactive, and has only fought cans in the last 4 years or so, to make the fight with Golovkin, and not vica versa.

I'm all about GGG, I'm a huge fan, and i don't like this one bit. Sanchez could easily just say the risk vs reward is too great with Ward. Simple as that. This 164 weight stipulation is BS. I can see where they are coming from because Ward would draw less money but just say it. Don't change the goal posts for a particular fighter. It's fair enough if the money isn't right they should have said that straight up.

As noted several times in this thread, bottom line, team g string doesn't believe ggg can beat Ward, on the other hand, they are confident he can beat Froch

i think the point is that GGG doesn't need to beat Canelo to get that green belt. As mandatory the fight must take place at 160, if not Canelo gets stripped just how it is. Now does GGG REALLY want that fight? If yes he needs to make sacrifices i.e. weight. I'll be honest I don't like the Ward excuse. They should have said from the start the risk vs reward and money etc was not good enough I'll admit that as a huge GGG fan.

Thats fine if you believe that. It's a perfectly reasonable and acceptable opinion.

But if Golovkin is really about business and taking on cash cows then he will do whatever it takes to get in a ring with Canelo. Bottom line.

I hope you don't suddenly change the rules for him when those negotiations take place.
