About the weight sure...but what does Lara have to do with any of this? Just say its all about GGG and put it out in the open..you dont care about Lara at all,hell he wants to fight GGG are you pushing for that fight?

The problem with this fight is it will play out the same way 10/10 times. It's a 115-113 fight either way every time. Both fighters are bad style matchups for each other. They can't create fireworks and neither one is that much better than the other to win without some sort of controversy.

They already fought, it was uneventful, now their raking in millions. There's nothing to gain for either guy.

As much as I dislike his style I'd care because one, he is a quality fighter who arguably could have gotten the win against Canelo. From that point, I'm forced to care.

Kind of. Lara can't really afford to stand still and put together combinations because he doesn't use a lot of head and upper body movement and he'd be a sitting duck for return fire. The most he'll put together is 3, the 1-2 and finish with the right hook but he doesn't throw the hook enough. His offense is so one dimensionsial that if he picked up the pace he will eventually be figured out and timed.

Really hated their fight and think it would always turn out that way so no. Not even about hating Lara, I'd be interested in seeing him against a lot of the top guys and loved his fight with Angulo, but a boxer like Lara who uses that much movement vs a counter puncher like Canelo with slow feet who can't cut off the ring is usually a bad fight, especially when both avoid taking risks unless the opening is there and both do not leave many openings. And even if they do, both have good head movement.

Canelo's footwork did look better vs Cotto, but even when he had Floyd and Lara on the ropes he didn't exactly unleash hell. I think they just match-up for a close, boring fight again.

I had it scored 8-4 for Lara.

So of course I think we need a rematch.
Maybe 7-5 at worse for Lara, and if you really wanna give Canelo additional help, maybe a DRAW.

But in no way, no how did Canelo win that fight, even a draw would have been a robbery, but to take it a step further and give Canelo the nod, was sickening.
