Exactly. The context is what's important here, but people hear what they want to hear and suspend reality.

We may have different definitions of huge PPV. Regardless, the fight isn't even on the table. Ward is a 175 pounder and has an agreement to fight Kovalev, likewise Golovkin has an agreement to fight Canelo.

It's not a step backward or a step forward. It shouldn't be spoken about anymore, the fight irrelevant. They're 2 weight classes apart, reporters should focus on Ward vs Kovalev and Golovkin vs whoever is at MW. This fight does not interest me anymore, neither does Mayweather vs GGG.
