Ward will win a runaway decision when they fight. You're eastern bias won't let you admit it, but its obvious. Kovalev might win three rounds when they fight, and that's a long shot. I'm actually more interested in seeing Beterbiev (an actual complete fighter) against Ward, than I am Kovalev who I view as one dimensional.
    Fail troll.

The funny thing about Kovalev-Ward, is for people not riding hard with either guy the aftermath will be priceless because somebodies fans are going to be eating some sour tasting crow.

I look at statistics 9 times out of 10. A great boxer always beats a puncher...ESPECIALLY if he's NEVER truly fought a great boxer. And as on Jack@ass said Pascal??? That BUM is NOT any GOOD!!!!

Kovalev has shown he isn't some crude power only fighter and he's displayed enough versatility in his game that proves he isn't one dimensional. Likewise, Ward has shown an incredible amount of versatility in his game, fighting each and every opponent differently.

This isn't some easy fight to call. I would favor Kovalev 60/40 but for anyone to say it's an easy fight one way or another is sorely mistaken.
Kovalev has shown some versatility in his offense, but very little defensively. Fortunately he hasnt had to, but ward will eat up his present defense. I think kovalev may be physically strong enough to keep ward from overtly clenching constantly, but I do think he's a move forward fighter and just average counter puncher. His defense lapses when he backs up and he tends to cover up in combos vs throw in between them. I feel like although they are totally different fighters this fight could go similarly to arthur abraham fight. Throw kov off tempo, not let him fully extend on shots, use physicality and short shots and bully ball inside.

It is an interesting fight and I do think Kovalev is a pretty good boxer, Ward is a different kettle of fish so I can see liking him but Kovalev is not some chump either and I am unsure of his upper limits.

The one thing that is certain with that fight is somebodies fanbase is getting a pipe wrench to the teeth that night. Lots of dudes will vamoose and a lot will just never be the same.

fact is that was the guys 18th fight
                  And he hasnt beaten anyone.

                  This is the pros
Barrera would be a good fight with Kov and Kov would stop him because he is there to be hit , I read this article as butt hurt Abel he knows Ward beats his star and it irks him that Ward just beat the guy Abel said would KO Ward .

People seem to forget the bad things Kov has done in fights and he has not fought a guy with Wards speed and boxing ability in one package , Kov has hit guys with good punches and they didnt fall all on every shot so Ward will not fall on every shot and Ward shows a great chin Ive never seen him buzzed .

Seeing as GGG is scared of Ward then its up to Ward to be the little guy and fight Kov , from what I can see GGG is the one Abel is protecting and the other 2 are real .

The other 2 are also within 3lbs of each other fight night and 15+ above Ggg. And they're each other's best money option, unlike Ggg who's mando for the biggest fight in boxing. Still look like neither one is going down this year.

Ward looked good, but hes not beating Kov on that form. Maybe with another tune-up (ffs) he's a legit threat to Kov, but there's reasons for concern for his fans:

                      1. Ate too many jabs
                      2. Right hand AWOL
                      3. Inside game doesn't look as formidable at 175
                      4. That duck low defense is murder vs Kov
