I have no reason to believe Kov will beat Ward. I thought Barrera looked good, his class showed...Ward is just on another level.

Kovalev has shown he isn't some crude power only fighter and he's displayed enough versatility in his game that proves he isn't one dimensional. Likewise, Ward has shown an incredible amount of versatility in his game, fighting each and every opponent differently.

This isn't some easy fight to call. I would favor Kovalev 60/40 but for anyone to say it's an easy fight one way or another is sorely mistaken.
I've been around this sport my whole life. Grew up with not good, but all-time great boxing minds. Kovalev's only shot is to land something big and follow up on it, which is possible. But I don't see him being able to execute that plan against this guy.

Ward will win a runaway decision when they fight. You're eastern bias won't let you admit it, but its obvious. Kovalev might win three rounds when they fight, and that's a long shot. I'm actually more interested in seeing Beterbiev (an actual complete fighter) against Ward, than I am Kovalev who I view as one dimensional.

Eastern bias, wtf? You realize Bernard Hopkins is my favorite fighter and I'm not a Kovalev fan? Obviously not.

If you honestly believe Beterbiev is more of a complete fighter than Kovalev then I don't even know what to say.

I didn't realize fights are won by resume comparisons. I guess that explains why Donaire whooped Rigondeaux.

Yea alot of hate here for ward, can only imagine why. Anyways Kov is a slick boxer/puncher feints pretty good etc...... but a finely tuned ward at this level is 8-4 my opinion, if really sharp 10-2. Similar to mayweather he takes your greatest weapon and neatralizes it. Kov has a chance tho i love his diff angles of firing shots off but yea tuned up ward beats him convincingly. Just my opinion please no hate letters. PUHLEASE :^)

I don't care who your favorite fighter is. Anyone who has watched boxing for longer than a few minutes (an obvious exaggeration here but you get the point) can see Ward will outclass Kovalev. It's only interesting because we want to see if he can land something that matters (which I doubt).

wasn't really connecting the two points, i was just pointing out two separate facts. stylistically kovalev ain't this wildman crude fighter, he is measured, patient and calculated which plays into ward's hands because that gives ward time to think and nobody besides floyd can out think ward.
