I was just about to say this: Kovalev is not slow by any stretch. In fact, he's one of the faster guys in the LHW division. His punching power must overshadow this. But there's a reason the punches are hitting their mark so often, and its not just brute strength.

Nonsense! Kovalev's speed is nothing special. In fact, it is very average. He has skills and good ring IQ and timing, he certainly is no speed demon though.

He is very slow compared to Ward. Pascal has **** defense and Hopkins, apart from being a granpa, has never been known for his speed either.

Just coz he tagged those two doesn't mean he will tag Ward whatsoever. Pascal is the same guy who was beat by slow ass Carl Froch.

Andre is constantly thinking, measuring, responding. Kovalev's not been challenged by anyone dangerous and when he gets in deep with Ward, he's going to get frustrated.
