I agree, I always ask myself did X take the belts away from the champion and I personally think ward didnt, he did a great job of staying in after the KD and that comeback makes it more dramatic etc but imo kovalev won more rounds clearly and scored the kd.

Well see the rematch hopefully, I dont trust ward he gonna want 4 more tune ups and hope kovalev gets worn torn by the time the 2nd comes around.

Kovalev is the better fighter. I had Kovalev ahead and I could see a draw or split, but a UD in his favor is off imo.

Kovalev stops him in the rematch.

Wrapz, Im sorry to burst your bubble mate but Ward beats Kovalev in a rematch even easier. The "surprise factor" (his power) won't be there no more. Ward now knows what Kovalev brings to the table and knows how to fight him. He also knows Kovalev fades in the later rounds.

EDIT: Ward AND Hunter now know what Kovalev brings and how he fights.
