    Ward is chasing the best!

I don't love his style in the ring and there's a lot of time for 'injuries' or other shenanigans but I'm happy to see someone out there who literally wants to fight the best fighters in their weight class. Ward is chasing Kovalev. It's provisionally booked in for November. He's mentioned Stevenson too which at least is something.

    Where's everyone else at?

if you are the division boss I have no beef with you but what happened to fighters looking to prove they were the best? Is everyone too busy for Rigo, GGG, etc, etc? It don't make sense? What about proving you are the best?

Even if Ward loses to Kovalev, I'm still cheering him until he retires

There's a crowd here that shares this common lie; that Ward ducked Golovkin and will never fight Kovalev. They'd have to be complete idiots to believe that so I don't think that anyone here actually buys that idea. But, they still hide behind it, because it somehow makes them feel safer, as fans.

Meanwhile, the guy is far braver than GG, Canelo, etc, etc because he's actually going after it without fussing, crying to the media, or patting himself on the back.

I don't think GGG or Ward ducked each other. I think their weights drifted apart during Ward's hiatus and it just became undoable and they moved on. Both sides really exaggerate acting like one of them was hunting the other.

Canelo tho... He hasn't fought in a real weight division in 3 years but picked up the lineal MW title... He's what happens when your fans are a little bit *too* loyal...

It's a campaign slogan I didn't write. But to me it represents cracking down on lopsided "free trade" agreements, H1Bs, reestablishing normal borders.

It's a "duck" because of the fact that GG was barking at Ward like a little chihuahua when Ward was legally tied up. Then, as soon as Ward got free he went after Golovkin and Genady wanted NOTHING to do with him.

Were Genady not interested in going up in weight, that would be totally respectable but the punk bytch called out everyone from 154 to 168, then tucked tail and ran back to his comfort zone.

it's good that he is fighting someone good....the reason some don't give him credit is his own fault....the caliber of bums he has wanted for tune ups is disgraceful.....the "i need two tune ups to fight someone good" schtick is not a good look either...that creates the impression that the reason he fights good opposition is that he's being forced to by HBO.

to someone objective, Ward wanting it after 2 tune ups and 50/50 would negate the fact that GGG wanted it at 164........they're both hypocrites...but of course that goes against their fanboys agendas so they pleasantly ignore each side's argument.
