There's a shortage of names fighting names right now, a real bad shortage. 2016 schedule is looking dim. Golovkin vs Brook is a name vs a name, and the undefeated angle will sell for sure. It will have people talking, that's the main reason Brook/Hearn want the fight, they want the fans/media to talk about them like they are talking about Canelo/Khan, and that should be praised by fans that you got guys stepping up like this, not rejected. Brook wants his name in the headlines, and to do this he has to fight the guys who are considered the best right now. Are Brook/Hearn full of ****? We do not know, it's possible, call their bluff and then make fun of them if they back out.Comment

He won't do catch weight for the biggest stars in boxing now, but he'll do it for you? Man, These fighters from the UK are really on something good. First khan thinks he deserves all the big fights and Floyd is ducking him, now this.
Regarding GGG, canelo fight won't happen till next year so please GGG, either Lara, jacobs, Saunders or cotto.Comment

lol you guys are INSANE! The amount of crazy you guys come up with to criticize Golovkin is just nuts. You're literally criticizing Golovkin for something Hearn would never offer to K2/Golovkin in the first place, not too mention no formal or serious talks have taken place between the two sides as to a real, actual fight. And you know that already but yet here you are anyways, criticizing Golovkin for it.Why wouldn't a small Middleweight give up 3lbs to fight an undefeated world champion who has a name? Regardless what people say Brook is a draw in the U.K and probably the second biggest behind Khan.
Give up 3lbs and try and entice Canelo in.
Khan is moving up to fight Canelo at 155, Brook is on about going up practically two weights for the fight yet Golovkin this alleged monster can't give up a measly 3lbs? The same guys was going bat**** recently over a few lb weight differential.
Call Brooks bluff at least.
The other issue is that obviously Golvokin/k2 are after Canelo next. How do you think it would look if Leoffer says yes to 156 pounds for Brook but say no to Canelo? Use your head man. They aren't going to publicly say they would fight anyone at 156-157 pounds while trying to get Canelo to fight him at 160.Comment

Also why would Triple G fight Kell Brook at a CW when he can fight Saunders?
Saunders is a bigger name in the UK than Brook and also a much better and proven fighterComment

No they haven't! Lara has never offered to fight Golovkin, there's never been talks between the two sides. Canelo flat out rejected a Golovkin fight next (what offer are you talking about!?), Brook has not made any offer to Golovkin he has a fight on saturday against bum Kevin Bizier and Wards offer to Golovkin was after he signed to fight Lemeiux for a fight in late 2016 (i.e a year away). Saying publicly "I'll fight Golovkin" is not an offer to fight Golovkin.Comment

The difference being Brook isnt a big name in the UK and especially not worldwideThere's a shortage of names fighting names right now, a real bad shortage. 2016 schedule is looking dim. Lets not hide the fact tickets sales for Brook Bizier have been very poor. They were handing them out for free
Khan is a name, and that is why Canelo chose to fight him.
Triple G is gunning for Saunders, who is a bigger name than Brook.
Brook has no value, his toys r belt is of no value to Triple GLast edited by FrankieBruno; 03-25-2016, 04:21 PM.Comment

I presume the Coward you are talking about (from your safe hiding place) is GGG.
And it was Ward who wanted to fight Golovkin .. so Golovkin is a coward for only being willing to meet him half-way on the weight. He should have gone all the way up to 168, yeah?
And now Golovkin wants to fight Canelo, and look ... the goal posts have magically moved!
Now, instead of Canelo having to go up to 160 for Golovkin, Golovkin has to go all the way down to 155 for him instead!
Now why don't you stop being a coward and say what you really think, which is that you just want to see Golovkin lose, whatever it takes to make it happen.Comment

I rate Kel Brook highly at WW, but he wouldn't have a hope against GGG at 157.There's a shortage of names fighting names right now, a real bad shortage. 2016 schedule is looking dim. And, unfortunately, Kel is not a "name" even in his own country. Outside of hard-core boxing fans, not many people in the UK have even heard of him ... that's why Khan wanted an 80/20 split to fight him.Last edited by kafkod; 03-25-2016, 04:28 PM.Comment

lol, yet Golovkin only entertaining a fight with Andre Ward at 164 was just fine? If he had "real cajones", the 4 pounds shouldn't be anything. If you can whoop any fighter 154-168, stepping onto the scale as 164 should be no problem. COWARD fraud.Comment
