How can anyone hate on Loma for this?

This is the mentality I wish more current boxers had. He wants some real challenges and he deserves nothing but respect for that.

I don't like these conditional offers. They always come across as disingenuous. Fighters should always try to negotiate for the best possible offer without any 'strings attached'. There are so many factors that can take place in a fight. For example, look at the Flanagan vs. Zepeda fight. Both fighters throw a hook at the same time, they miss but their arms cross and Zepeda's shoulder separates and he can't continue and Flanagan is awarded the champion. Flukes like injuries, cuts, terrible decisions can really hurt a fighters career. That's why you have to negotiate the best possible deal.

if walters does not take this fight I can no longer be a fan of his. walters has everything he's asked for, the fight at 130 timing of the fight and now an extra 300k.lomachenko is doing his part now walters needs to do his and sign the contract he has no excuses now.

Why is it that all these guys demand $1M to fight Lomachenko? First it was Rigo and now it's Walters. Walters is getting the highest pay day of his career at 435K. Rigo was offered 500K. I've never seen a fighter with a 5-1 record instill so much doubt in other fighters before.
