Exactly! It's sad that Loma has to resort to this. It's not his job to offer Walters more money. It's the job of his promoter. I bet Bob won't give him a cut of the profits from the fight. People shouldn't encourage this. It's the fighters responsibility to fight and the promoters responsibility to promote.

I agree but props to Loma for putting his money where his mouth is. Still Arum should be the one coming up with the money

Bob is worth $200 mil. Loma shouldn't have to offer anything. As a former union steward this type of ***** pisses me off. It's pitting fighter against fighter instead of the fighters banding together and getting what they both deserve. They're the ones getting punched in the face for a living. Promoters are always last in the ring, first to get paid.

So Al Haymon should be using his own money instead of Waddell and Reed's? It's business not a ****ing charity.

It's called business. The UFC uses investment money but I don't see people insinuating the Zuffa Bros doing anything illegal or taking handouts. It's called investing. It's done thousands a times a day on Wall St. Haymon is doing nothing different than other businessmen.

If Arum doesn't want to come out his pocket to get the fight made he needs to put it on the open market and have it bid on. Instead he's relying on the charity of HBO.

Look at all this worms coming out the wood work, giving Loma props for this tweet. When a certain other fighter said similar stuff to a certain other fighter...it didnt go down so well lol

In terms of Loma, I finally believe he wants a big fight. Good on him. Balls in Walters court.
