Don't even bring up Wade or Monroe Jr. Murray and Lemieux were both top middleweight contenders no matter what you say. Don't act like GGG doesn't fight often, either. How many other boxers fight two top 10 opponents in less than a year?
Bro get out of here! You didn't even know who Dominic Wade was before this fight! No type of name at all! Murray has never won against top competion and Lemieux was just a hype job that no one gave a chance and also hardley knew! So give it a break! He hasn't even fought a Berto, Algeria, Clottey, Maidana, or Ortiz caliber fighter! We not even going to bring up a Marquez or Bradley caliber fighter! SMH! He 34 yrs old and that's just trash, but because he has his HOPE INSURANCE he gets praised and it's all good.

Once again I respect the hell out of him, because he's very good, but he hasn't faced anyone yet for me to call him great! And no Canelo still wouldn't do it for me, but I would respect the fight. He would be great if he beat him and moved up and beat a Degale and Bute then moved up for a super fight against Ward at a catchweight of 172

As far as the topic, it's about damn time somebody stepped up to the plate and dared to be great.

Boxing just a bunch of micromanaged divas, begging for paydays and crying over 3 pounds.
You dudes are blind. Acting like Ward is trying to do great things. If he truly wanted to be great, he wouldn't of picked Barrera. He also wouldn't of just stayed in the comfort of his own home during the Super Six. Give him props for moving up though, I know that's not easy. Look what Inueu is doing at a low amount of fights, look at Loma.

Daring to be great by fighting guys your actual size instead of smaller guys. LOL. I find that statement a lot more daring.

You mean like Canelo who really should be fighting at least at 168lbs or 90% of boxers today that rehydrate 15 to 20lbs on fight night? Haters going to hate! The only fighters that I've seen in boxing that fight at there true weight are Floyd, PAC, and Rigo! Everyone else is basically killing themselves to try to have the size advantage on fight night! The only real advantage you really need is the skill advantage. Floyd showed us that!
