hbo knows how many top fighters ggg has tried to fight. they also know how many top fighters ward turned down over the last 5 years. maybe thats why they have more faith in him? you know acually using data and evidence to make decisiosn instead of being fanboys and calling people cowards because they don't understand what is happening.

Here are the FACTS: Ward has actually fought and *beat* top guys. Bumlovkin, OTOH, doesn't have a single name on his resume. Not one. So don't come in here talking all that jazz about who the Triple Duck could have, would have or should have fought. The FACT is that Bumlovkin has fought NOBODY. Just TOMATO CAN after TOMATO CAN.
And I find it quite curious that HBO's policy toward and promotion of the Triple Duck is the polar opposite to that of Andre Ward given Ward's caliber and history. Ward is CLEALY superior to Bumlovkin in every aspect.Comment

Well I don't fault him for doing whatever he wants - In fact I support him 100%. However, he can't make 168 anymore, and that's why he did it. It has nothing to do with daring to be great. He's already great. No need to feed his detractors with statements like this.Comment
