Using that logic, I want to know what did Floyd Mayweather jr do to get a chance for the lineal 130 lb title against Hernandez. At that point Floyd had beaten all bums with no record. He was 17-0 and ALL were bums. But real bums. Look at their records. And don't talk to me about him looking special in fights cuz so does GGG. And don't talk to me about having a great amateur career with a medal at the olympics cuz do so did GGG.

And then some of you ****** Mayweather fans have the balls to say that Floyd wasn't handled anything... that he had a rough path. Then what about GGG? Tell me another joke please you ignorant fools!
Deserve it or not, Mayweather earned the W that night in the ring. Surely even you must believe that just taking the title away from Canelo is not as impressive as actually beating someone solid for it.

Mayweather defeated Hernandez in the ring while GGG got elevated to titleholder. Of course Floyd being with TR got him the fight. He still had to win it in the ring.

If Floyd had been awarded the belt after Hernandez dropped it, then the TS would have a point.

Not GGG's fault that Canelo vacated. And Canelo vacated for a reason don't you think? ....

Oscar was the cash cow, face of boxing, and coming off winning a major world title. De La Hoya wasnt in many wars and leading up to the fight, and during the fight, he didnt fight like a shot fighter. Of course he was past prime...so was floyd...who was 30 and fighting in his 5th divison....I hope you know that wasnt the best floyd in the ring....his prime was in 05 and during his time @ 130-140

its not GGG's fault but it is also not impressive being handed 2 out of 3 belts...at least let 2 fighters fight for the vacant belt like its usually done.

Yes, it's a pity that Canelo vacated. Who's the other one? Geale? yes, he vacated too... but he destroyed him one year later.

Actually it IS impressive. When fighters vacate a title in order to avoid you that tells you a lot. Unless you are a biased fl0mo GGG hater.

Floyd moved to 147 in late 2005 and only fought there at 1.5 years before he had to move up again to 154 to fight Dela Hoya in 2007, Dela Hoya was fighting at 154 for a long time and was at least 15 lbs heavier on fight night.

Being outweighed is not something that we've never seen before, I don't see the big deal in the fight taking place at 157 158 and Canelo being 5 lbs heavier or so on fight night! GGG's not gonna be the first fighter to do so and it's not a "crazy" catchweight. 155 can be too much for GGG to make at the moment but I think he can make 157 healthy if he starts camp a bit earlier and had a bit of a stricter diet. Hopkins did the same thing to get the Dela Hoya fight despite him being older than GGG now and despite him being the lineal/ unified champion at 160.

How do you know Floyd's fight night weight? you can't know the real value.

I believe Floyd knew he could beat oscar, and he barely did it anyway. Oscar was inactive (two fights in three years) and had already like 4 losses. He was shot, period. Floyd was fast and powerful at 154 at 30 years old. In order to be that fast you need to be a bit lighter than your opponent which Floyd normally is.

Canelo is the ***** here and if GGG doesn't want to weaken into 155 or 157 it's his problem. I think we should applaud it. Why would we give 10-15 millions for a coward like Canelo? If he decides to be the coward then I don't even want to see that fight.

Regarding DLH and Hopkins we all know that Hopkins used to fight at 160-175 while DLH on 130-160. Even though it was a BS fight (Oscar was never a true MW) and probably hopkins was heavier @ fight night, so he made a concession. Not the same situation here, Canelo is heavier.
