Dunno about that, but i do know that Brook is capable of beating any current welterweight in the world right now.

He has the power to keep him off though. Maidana doesn't know how to fight backwards. He looked dazed and confused everytime Floyd turned up the heat on him. The only thing that saved him was he really good jab and off course clinching and then launching a devastating low blow whenever he was in trouble.

cotto, pacman,de la hoya, mosley,a prime judah and the late great diego "chico" corrales would all have probably won at this stage. a little further to go yet i think. kell brook would still lay khan out and thats at ANY stage.
There is no way Brook loses to Marquez. If Floyd was too big for him then imagine what Kell will look like?

Marquez gets destroyed on sheer size abd power difference alone.

              Brook isn't all that IMO
Nah I think he comfortably beats the ones in bold. Maidana would be an interesting one because Brook does have a decent amount of power So I think that would help keep Maidana off him, but then again Brook often takes rounds off and goes to sleep. I'm not sure if it's an issue with stamina or just a mental thing but that would be incredibly dangerous against the likes of Maidana. The rest would have beaten Brook.

Froch is right though, you look at most of the 'top' welters right now and there isnt really that many stand out fighters. Pacquaio and Bradley who are good but old, Porter who he has already beat, thurman and Spence who are even more untested than Brook and have fought nobody of note. Khan (will he come back down?), Garcia who is a hype job and has been incredibly lucky and Varagas. The likes of Algieri aren't even worth a mention. The division is pretty weak at the moment so I would expect Brook to be up there.

His first job though is to stop ducking decent fighters because he is becoming a bit of a joke at the moment...

Is there a luckier fighter than Danny Garcia? I`ve seen some recent talk of Kell going to the states to fight him - there is no way Angel Garcia allows that, OR a Khan rematch.

This is what I like to call the Joe Calzaghe/Ricky Hatton/Lennox Lewis ("british") way. Get that belt then camp out in Britain and load up the resume with absolute bums/marginal fighters for as long as possible before you have to take that step up to "validate" yourself.

It worked for Calzaghe and Lennox (although when they finally stepped up their opponents were way over the hill; Hopkins is arguable). Not so much for Hatton (mostly because he actually fought Floyd then Manny while they were still somewhat dangerous). And don't give me that Kostya Tszyu crap, dude was 36 when Hatton beat him and his best wins were against Zab and a 38 year old JCC Sr.

Although I don't think Tyson Fury has any plans to follow this route. We'll see.

It would be an interesting fight, but Garcia has beat a very impressive crop of fighters (no Peterson was not a robbery, and Herrera could have went either way). You can't count him out. Brook beat Shawn by clinching literally the entire fight (much more than anyone I can remember in recent history). With a different ref he could have lost that fight easily. Shawn was a good win, but I'm still waiting for him to show me what he's got, b/c lately its been tragically bad in regards to level of competition.

Kell Brook is a dainty frail weak perfumed sissie Brit loser

Kell has wasted his meager career and ruined what could have been a good ride. Brit dumb and afraid to venture out and take on big challenges and accept the weight of being a C rated welter champ err chump. The UK is a weak land of wimps. dainty funny talking lads.
