Fury's performance vs Wlad was totally different from anything Andre Ward is capable of producing.

Fury used pure defensive boxing - footwork, feints and movement - to maintain distance, confuse Wlad and stack up points.

Fury is a boxer. Ward is a spoiler like Wlad, but without Wlad's KO power.

Fury's style of clean defensive boxing can win him fights anywhere.

He doesn't need home advantage every time or "friendly" refs who let him get away with holding and clinching, like Ward does.

Fury landed 86 punches in that fight, lots of posters here believe that fight to be the definition of uneventful. I'm not knocking Fury but I'm just puzzled how a guy who praises that performance calls a Ward fight uneventful.

Ward clinching and Wlad clinching are not entirely the same, since one does so to further his offence while the other does it to stop his opponent's offence. Which is why he doesn't get penalised... who else actively throws punches in the clinch the way Ward does?

Just the way this site goes I guess, posters will justify anything as long as they like the boxer in question.

Fury was a big underdog, fighting away from home against a dominant champion with KO power in either hand. Ward has never been in a situation like that in his life.

That one win by Fury tops anything Ward has achieved, or ever will achieve, in his entire pro career.

They certainly do, as you just demonstrated right there.

Ward doesn't get penalised for the same reason as Wlad .. he never fights away from home.

            LoL

It was an amazing acheivement but don't get carried away, If Ward beats Kovalev then that's a better win in my opinion, no one can question that Kovalev is the best LHW and is undoubtedly in his absolute prime right now unlike Wlad who was pushing 40. HW has been a division lacking quality for a very long time.

            Just saying.

True, but Ward isn't going to beat Kovalev. I'll be amazed if he even gets in a ring with him, tbh.

You, along with most other golovtards, absolutely reek of dopey-pacstain.
Ward hasn't done anything in years man, he's a joke. And you know as well as the rest of us that lil g would break Candela to pieces. Why do you think he made up his own division where he can hide out with the middleweight belt, weigh 175 on fight night and claim he isn't a middleweight? I mean there is no need to beat around the bush, the red kid is shook as they come.

Well Fury already beat Wlad. Ward has not even signed to fight Kovalev. Stop with these mythical wins non sense.

You're on a roll mate, keep 'em coming!

I'm neither angry nor a Golovtard - I thought calling people "tards" ended after the Bore of the Century, btw - just laughing at how you keep shooting yourself in the foot with your retarded attempts at satire.

According to who, the IBF ?

                      hahahaha

Is this where you explain to me in great detail how great the IBF are ?

Kid, you had never heard of Donald Duck, until Hypekin decided to fight him.
