Because nobody gives a fuck about your scorecard, or mine.

You probably haven't noticed yet but this is a message board where fans discuss their opinions on aspects of boxing. Some of us don't need judge's cards to validate what we see. Others don't have a leg to stand on.

Judges scorecards are an important aspect of boxing. They can have quite a big influence on who wins and who loses a fight.

          Have you never noticed that?

A lot of the rounds could have been scored either way, because it was a typical Andre Ward fight - scrappy and uneventful. The British judge gave all those rounds to Ward.
... it wasn't a 'typical' Andre Ward fight, because in that one Ward mimicked the 'old school inside boxing' and 'roughhouse'...

Froch said that he felt like pickpocketed in that fight...

Yeah and yet I still don't judge fights based on their cards.

I said I scored it different from the 2 judges I referred to.

You do sometimes get scorecards from one judge that are wildly different from what everybody else sees.

But a fight that was a "one-sided drubbing" - which was the comment I responded to - would not have had 2 judges scoring it as close as that.

And it didn't look like what I would call a one-sided drubbing to me either.

You brought up the judges, not me. And what I said is that it was one-sided. I don't know what drubbing means but it certainly wasn't competitive, even with Ward taking the last two rounds off.

Come on, Ward/Froch was clearly a one-sided drubbing. Ward completely controlled the fight and won 9-10 rounds. At no point was there a question about who the better fighter was. Even Froch's rally towards the end didn't do much for him. Ward smacked Froch around, bullied him, and made it look easy.
