True, this is why people want this fight. But if Wilder finds a way to win clearly, that would put him in a pretty good spot. If he loses he gets 'exposed'. In reality Povetkin is a very good fighter, if he beats Wilder it's because he's just good, not that Wilder sucks. If Wilder wins, then he's better than some think.

It is heavyweight boxing after all, these are big boys and if Wilder makes a mistake in punching range Povetkin is certainly capable of hurting him. I think it is much easier said than done, but Povetkin can certainly do it.

I wouldn't be surprised with a early KO, although I think its possible by either guy not just Povetkin.

As this fight is becoming more & more real & it seems like it will end up happening I think I'm thinking about this fight in a realer way doe & I think I'm leaning Povetkin's way. Its a 50/50ish fight, but I think Povetkin gots the better boxing IQ, has shown himself to be tougher, is more technically sound & seems to make less mistakes. Being American I'm more of a fan of Wilder, but its hard to argue he's not a sloppy fighter who is largely capitalizing off of his superior size, power & heart vs most of his previous opposition. I think Povetkin is a couple levels above Wilder's best opposition & that unless Wilder takes a risk that pays off big I feel like he's gonna come up short here. Rooting for Wilder so he can grab the mic & give the Rocky IV speech, but picking Povetkin.

i'd have my food and drink prepared before i got to russia if i was wilder..i wouldnt take any chances there..i know it might be a hassle, lot of my own cooking or nothing..im very paranoid of russians and germans...its become whites all together after i see how they are acting over here in the US now simply bc they are scared of hood black ppl they they dont even have to interact with for 2% of their life
