This is one example of how PBC has hurt the sport not helped it. I remember the arguments from PBC enthusiasts being less is more; the idea that less cards but more money will create bigger/better fights on ESPN. Well, where the **** are they??

Idc what anyone says, FNF was a staple in boxing. It was consistent. It was something we could always count on Friday nights. Sure, the budget was very low, but it was a place for up and comers to show their stuff, for fallen vets to fall back on and see if they can climb back up, often times doing just that and earning themselves bigger fights on the big networks. It was a place where guys like Ruslan became regulars and fan favorites, taking the short money to create a name for themselves and if not for FNFs, we would have never had the epic Bradley vs Ruslan fight and many others.

I just can't believe how badly PBC is ran at this stage. There is absolutely no consistency. People thought PBC was following the UFC model, well the UFC follows up big events by having more UFC and they have consistent programs. PBC is so random, it's all over the place and no real schedule. You'd think by now they would have a more clear and steady lineup of boxing but it's as chaotic as ever.

I used to look forward to them even though they're a day delayed in this part of the world. I enjoyed the last Boxcino tournament.

Don't know why people keep comparing UFC with Boxing. They're different. The attraction for each type is different, just as Thai boxing is different. You can't apply the same business model for any of these types of contact sport.

I agree with the comment about pbc schedule being so random and not having and kind of continuity. One of the things pbc supporters used to say was we were going to have more boxing, but it seems like we have less boxing now than ever before, the pbc schedule has come to a screeching halt. Haymons got all these fighters tied up and sitting on there hands. Im not a pbc supporter but i remember last fall for a few months they would show toe2toe tuesdays every week or every other week and it was a pleasure having fresh boxing to watch but it seems like that plan has gone by the wayside.

FNF was the last good boxing show on. Boxing just isn't the same without it. PBC is garbage and mostly just more of the same A sides fighting B sides.

I enjoy having boxing on Tuesday again~ and Friday still has plenty of fights.

Who it sucks for most is not fans but for building prospects for anyone who doesn't work with PBC.

I thought we're going to have regular PBC fights on Tuesdays as a replacement for FNF. What happened?

                  Is FNF dead or what?

I always liked FNF that's where I first seen fighters such as Provo, Rosado, Fortuna. A lot top fighters at one point fought on FNF like Garcia and I think even Floyd when he was young.

Great thing about FNF is it's a good platform for up and coming fighters to test or showcase their skills. Fighters who are not looking to get paid handsomely, but to be introduced to the viewers so they can get into bigger arenas.
