Why must we rehash the Bute bull****? Ward ran through Kessler, Abraham, and Froch in the Super Six while Bute camped out fighting the Jean Paul Mendys of the world. After Ward won the Super Six, he said Bute needs to prove himself in order to get the fight. Bute tried vs. Froch and had his manhood torched. That's it. No duck. Just a ****ty fighter that got hyped to be more than he really was. This happens when fans focus on style or potential rather than actual accomplishments.

this is the guy that tried to fight truax, sartison, and periban saying bute had to beat someone. he never ever said i cant sign to fight bute because i'm hurt. in fact he was looking to setup a kessler rematch while hurt and even openly admits that he will be cherry picking from now on.

why are you so scared to say ward ducked a fight? it doesn't make him a bum or you have to hate him. lots of fighters do it. stop pretending that fighters are perfect and want to take on all challengers. they don't. at least we could hold them to some standard. 2 of the best in the division and career high paydays seems like a fair standard. no reason for it not to happen. floyd-marg, ward-bute, saunders-ggg are clear examples of ducks. trying to pretend everything is a duck just subtracts from the real ducks like these.
