He is already signed to fight Kovalev..**** are you talking about?that is dumb because mental ward was screaming for the fight with GGG so as a CW ward would have all the advantages like having his ref allow dirty fighting and always in his hometown. when it comes to ward fighting kovalev all I hear are crickets. there is more noise in a coffinComment

Exactly. Just perception is all...whatever way one chooses to see it these guys are not in the same weight class. Wards ducking GGG at 160-64, GGGs ducking Ward @168...perception.
Too bad we couldnt get that fight but i understand why...wt, $$$ were valid issues at the time.Comment

Rooting for Ward..alotta ppl here rooting against him, they know how good he is and hes a threat to everybody at 175 including the Champ Kov..thats what scares them; all their dreams coming to an end. Wards gonna have all them straps real soon.Comment

its wrong because Ward is even struggeling to make 168. I believe him because he has been a verry big super-middleweight. As long as he fights Kovalev down the road everything is okay. catchweight-fights are bull**** anyway. i dont like Ward but he belongs at 175 and GGG belongs at 160 so im not thinking about that fight anymore.Comment

Oleg Hermann, the manager of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin, is disputing some of the statements that were attributed to his boxer in a recent interview that was published by UK newspaper City A.M. In that interview, Golovkin was highly critical of Carl Froch, Andre Ward and Floyd Mayweather Jr. While Hermann admits that his boxer spoke to a British reporter about Froch and potentially facing him in the UK, he never made any of the printed statements about Ward or Mayweather.

Hershman, actually. Still can't find anything with him talking on the GGG/Ward negotiations.Last edited by NapalmKnuckles; 03-17-2016, 05:06 PM.Comment

The interview with the British magazine was shown to be bull****. The interview where he said stuff about Ward was in Russian and hasn't been denied by anybody.http://www.boxingscene.com/golovkins...omments--93111

Well at least someone with some brainNo disrespect to you and your arguments because clearly you have an issue with the topic of Golovkin - Ward, but in one post you make a bold statment saying "they have no interest in pursuing career suicide by going after ward". Problem with that being that the President of HBO is listed right on this site in quote as clearly stating that he was actually indeed given the green light by K2 to make a fight with Ward, this is within that same year where Sanchez publicly stated they were willing to fighting anyone up to 168. These are not assumptions, nor any attack on your argument, they are just facts. When the fight made sense for K2 and Golovkin it didn't make sense for Ward, now that it's convenient to Ward its not convenient for Golovkin because he has a lineal shot guaranteed. It's called business, neither of these guys is scared of the other, considering combined they've probably put in more pro/amateur ring hours than any two fighters actively combined. Shh is just business..Comment
