No wait, that's right..... he hasn't
... Yes: it's a line of world class fighters who still wait to fight Golovkin since long ago: starting with Martinez...

Golovkin created a new standard within boxing.

          It's called the Golovkin standard.....

          It goes like this.....

..... you talk utter **** for 3 years..... then do absolutely nothing except blatantly duck world-class opposition..... but then take full credit for doing nothing whatsoever, almost as if you weren't really a manufactured fighter.

It requires the support of about 97,000 hardcore ******s to pull it off.

Problem with that being that the President of HBO is listed right on this site in quote as clearly stating that he was actually indeed given the green light by K2 to make a fight with Ward, this is within that same year where Sanchez publicly stated they were willing to fighting anyone up to 168. These are not assumptions, nor any attack on your argument, they are just facts. When the fight made sense for K2 and Golovkin it didn't make sense for Ward, now that it's convenient to Ward its not convenient for Golovkin because he has a lineal shot guaranteed. It's called business, neither of these guys is scared of the other, considering combined they've probably put in more pro/amateur ring hours than any two fighters actively combined. Shh is just business..

Aah ok, so the 164lb catchweight demand that they knew Ward cannot make was just..... business ?

            Right, gotcha ^^

Well, that " business " completely killed the fight.

I bet Duva read the headline of this article and started thinking of ways she could pull Kovalev out of the fight and make it look like it was Ward fault.

Of course you feel stronger, you have the frame of a cruiser weight but you were fighting at 168 to have every advantage possible.

I'm sure an injury will come up when he's scheduled to fight Kovalev.
