Yes and I love how they always bring up that he fought light heavy in the ams.... but if I remember correctly is cuz he didn't want to fight one of the dirrells that was at super middle. Something to that effect.Comment

Basically.....they were both middleweights..both won national titles at 165 from 2000-2003 of some type of another..179 would have been vacant if Ward didnt move up and why not send the better fighter up. Ward hadnt lost since he started puberty and was the physically stronger of the two.Comment

you make a lot of sense unlike the dumb ward fans hereits wrong because Ward is even struggeling to make 168. I believe him because he has been a verry big super-middleweight. As long as he fights Kovalev down the road everything is okay. catchweight-fights are bull**** anyway. i dont like Ward but he belongs at 175 and GGG belongs at 160 so im not thinking about that fight anymore.Comment

You interpreted that wrong, what he said was "I want to fight Canelo, to make a name for myself and because he is smaller than me. Ward is too big.No he is not being sarcastic.
Here you read it directly from GGG from an interview in his native language. (translated)

Dude i know what ur getn...against the names you mention, GGG has good shot at any of them in terms of competition and victory. Against Ward, GGG chances at victory would be slim....bcuz of Wards obvious talent. Do u not undrrstand what im saying? Ward would most likely beat GGG so they wanted to be compensated bcuz so.
Yea sorry, I got the full picture in your last post.
That is just basic risk/reward, and I don't have a huge problem with it either..... it is smart, and that is how boxing has always worked.
But they just gotta be honest with the fans.Comment
he was at middleweight before Super middleweight
