Body frame. It's like when hopkins skipped super middlweight and went directly to 175. He had the body frame to do it but he insisted on weighting as little as possible for years to have the advantage in size.Comment

No he is not being sarcastic.
Here you read it directly from GGG from an interview in his native language. (translated)
"Hey, Ward, wake up! Why are you talking trash about other people? Speak for yourself. If you're trying to make a name for yourself by mentioning me to build up your own fight, then be a man about it and tell the truth. At our meeting with HBO they asked us whether we are ready to box. You know our answers - I said yes, you said no. You said something about your shoulder or promoter - I'm not interested in the reason, I only heard your "no." But you remember that HBO said then that they would need a long time to build-up the fight. Then what the **** are you talking about excuses?"Comment

Haha. Bro, don't feed the trolls! You're a fcking idiot. You do realize Gennady's camp is the one that requested for 164 so that this fight wouldnt get made right?
I don't believe for a second you're mexican, you spill so much **** and you dont know a single thing about boxing it's just plain embarrassing.
Next time i'm at GDL, i'll break your fat fingers.Comment

he was at middleweight before Super middleweight
keep reachin!

if that was the case he wouldnt have been able to fight at 160-164 the beginning of his career....he was never a lightheavyweight and the only reason people say this is because he fought at 179 in the olympics....He was a middleweight in the ams up until olympic qualifying tournaments so dirrell could fight at middleweight.
Until he started fighting in championship fights, he weighed a few pounds below 168 so no, he wasnt a natural lightheavyweight and never weighed over 170 for a fight until he fought Paul Smith.
Hopkins turned pro weighing 177.....he was a natural middleweight but was disiplined staying in shape year round so he didnt have to strain to get to 160.Comment
