So the risk to reward for this fight makes perfect sense. Being a gb fighter winning gold at the London Olympics has indeed captured the people's imagination, and why not. He's got age and image on his side (unlike Harrison who was turning pro age 30) and if the hype train derails, he'll have done much more good than harm for his own bank account and British boxing in general

Joshua is basically what would happen if any of these kids with real and legitimate aspirations of playing in the NBA or the NFL (not pipe dreams like Wilder) took up boxing in their late teens. He's a genuine athlete in a sea of slobs and fatties, and that alone will be enough for him to get by.
