Fact remains. Look at every Pacquiao fight even the ones he didn't do much in but was heavily active (Clottey is a good one).
Clottey was HURTING Pacquiao. But Pacquiao was busier. Result? Pacquiao.
Marquez 1-3. Pacquiao was busier in all three fights despite Marquez causing more damage in counters.
Pacquiao was busier against Mosley. Busier against De La Hoya. Busier against Cotto.
If you're a fighter known for high punch output the judges will give you the nod. We've seen it every time. The only time we don't see it is when the one on the receiving end is so effective at nullifying it as to make it a joke. Thus, MayPac.
Your logic doesn't make sense. If Floyd wanted to prove the flat-footed theory he'd have boxed him in the first fight.
DO you know why Floyd fought the way he did? Two reasons.
One, he was dealing with some nonsense over Miss Jackson. That was in his head, you could see it in his eyes.
Two, Maidana had just schooled Adrien Broner. Floyd was proving a point to Broner more than anything else: you're not as good as you think you are trying to go toe-to-toe against somebody and getting knocked down much less losing. Floyd fought the same way Broner did yet came out on top against the same opponent. That's why Floyd Sr. was ragging on Broner after the loss. It was a game.
The rematch happened because Floyd said, "now let me show you how you REALLY should fight dudes like this". Corrected the ref situation and got a ref that wasn't going to let Chino cheat. The result? UD.
Floyd didn't need to throw any more than that. Manny was domesticated. Every time Floyd DID throw, Manny backed off. When's the last time you saw Pacquiao do that?
Clearly Floyd's got something behind the shot.
