Wilder has a better resume than Crawford. It's typical HBO bias.

I agree. People complain about the quality of GGG's opposition it's 100 times better than Crawford's last 3 fights. GGG fights the best middleweights who dare to share a ring with him. Crawford or whoever makes his fights doesn't even try to fight the best available. Postol wants to fight him and that fight would be easy to make but team Crawford wants no part of it. I think Postol would beat Crawford. I am grateful to Crawford for blasting out annoying bragger Lundey but overall I agree Crawford is overrated by many. He is very good but not as good as guys like Kellerman are saying he is.

This is where I may disagree with you. I don't think Postol is particularly good himself. Yeah, he out-boxed Matthysse but Matthysse is such a crude and basic fighter, and Viktor himself seemed to be a lot bigger than Matthysse. It was a bad match-up for Lucas all around.

I think Crawford is probably good enough to beat Postol and probably guys like Danny Garcia. But I don't think he's going to reach that elite level.

Crawford is Golovkin, neither has beat a decent opponent. Crawford ran from Postol and Golovkin ran from Ward.

The jury is still out on Crawford.. If he fights and beast Postol... I might convict him of being great in the first degree.

Postol has better fundamentals than Crawford, a better jab and right hand. That might be all it takes to beat Crawford I think. Crawford really isn't that good of a boxer, he was being badly outboxed by Gamboa who's very good but as already mentioned, half of Crawford's size. Even Dulorme won 3-4 rounds against Crawford and he's C level at best.

Crawford was outboxed by Danny in the ams as well and we know skillwise, Danny isn't that great. I heard Sadam Ali handily beat him as well. This was obviously a while ago, but my point is Crawford isn't as skilled as people think.

Gamboa is fast as **** and exceptionally skilled himself, not to mention a tricky style to deal with. I wouldn't hold that against Crawford at all.

Postol has a good jab but he's shaky man, his footwork isn't always that solid and he's overall sloppy at times. I think Crawford is the better fighter here.

Any videos of those amateur fights or details of the fights? A win at the amateur level doesn't always mean much, unless it was a KO or domination. Sometimes those 'who landed more punches that all the judges clicked the button at the same time' type of fights don't mean much, I mean are we talking about a fight where a dude won 17-14, or was we talking about 21-3? Big difference.

He's definitely better than C level. Gamboa would beat bigger C level fighters, for example I'm certain he would have beat Brandon Rios. He's B level in my book, whether or not he's B- or B+ I'm not sure until he fights better opponents at 147.

Also, don't forget Crawford was also getting caught clean by Dierry Jean. You'd wonder how this guy would do if he just steps up a bit.

I really admire Crawford too, his mentality in the ring, the way he maintains composure and that he's a thinking fighter. As you said though, he is overhyped.
