Strange conundrum Khan is in here. Do people feel sorry for him because he is going to get absolutely destroyed in there or do we bask in the glory of knowing there is actually some sort of karmatic justice that will be delivered upon Khan because of his constant delusional ramblings?
Khan: I didn't want 155. Canelo demanded it.

I realize they are two separate issues but Khan is saying that he didn't want any excuses, he wanted to fight Canelo where he was most comfortable. I don't know how you interpreted that but to me, that sounds like the weight where Canelo wanted to fight. If weight was an issue to begin with and Candela said "Hell no puta, 155 or nada" Khan could have tossed the rehydration clause out there as a compromise to the weight. He didn't though, because he didn't "want any excuses" as he said.Comment

Someone is full of ****. First Khan said he took 155 fight because he wanted to beat the best possible Canelo now he is sayin the complete opposite.Comment

He was talking about the no re-hydration clause, you are getting the weight and re-hydration mixed up
Canelo claims he offered to fight Khan at 154, but Khan insisted the fight be at 155, which is a lie on Canelos part and made no sense to start with
Canelo basically got what he wanted 155 and can hydrate to whatever he wants to.Last edited by FrankieBruno; 03-13-2016, 03:40 PM.Comment

... It's no conundrum here for me... and I don't believe in karma...Strange conundrum Khan is in here. In my opinion, Khan is just plain ****** -- even more ****** than Sad Chad... I mean careerwise, not moneywise.Comment

Exactly. A lot of people forget or don't know, but the Angulo fight was supposed to be at 154 pounds but Canelo couldn't make weight and had to pay Angulo $100k of his purse:
Alvarez came into the fight under a cloud of come controversy. Knowing he would be unable to make the 154-pound contract weight at Friday's weigh-in, he negotiated the limit up to 155 pounds. He made the weight, paid Angulo $100,000 and agreed to a Saturday weight check at 3 p.m. PT, at which he was not permitted to weight more than 168 pounds.
The weight check was closed but, according to a Golden Boy Promotions official, Alvarez, who earned a minimum of $1.15 million, was 166 pounds. Angulo, who made $850,000 (including the additional $100,000), did not have to weigh in again.
By fight night, Alvarez weighed 174 pounds.

LOL, yeah Khan has never come off as the star student. He could have at least tried to get something in his favor; I feel for all intents and purposes, his career will be finished after this beating.Comment
Did anyone really believe Canelo wanted this at 154?
