Brooks loyalty and friendship to Hearn is his downfall

Hearn and Bazza are milking him

Brook needs to cut his losses and join Al Haymon, even Top Rank would offer him better fights and more money

      Degale had the right idea

I was a supporter of Brook, seems like a lifetime ago, but he kept begging Khan for a fight while not thinking of a backup plan...

Hopefully he will join Al Haymon and move over to the states, it'll sort his career out and open up doors

Brook is still the best WW out there... At the end of the day, who's calling him out? (I mean from Haymon's stable)...

No not at all. Even if Khan has ducked him so far, why has he not taken any other risky fights since beating Porter?

I just hope that if/when Spence gets made IBF mandatory, that Kell actually takes the fight.

I have no doubt that Kell is the best welterweight in boxing, he'll beat whoever is put in front of him.
You think Eddie will be able to deliver Kell a big fight this year?

By big fight i mean, top quality name, someone dangerous and respected...e.g Garcia, Bradley/Pac winner, Thurman/Porter winner.

I just don't see any of these fights happening.

Khan is about to earn a bucket load of money and he didnt need a promoter to negotiate the fight

If Spence ends up looking like crap against Aligeri, then he won't pose much of a challenge for Brook

Kell needs a big money fight, Danny Garica, Bradley, Pac, Thurman

And who actually wanted to fight him and he refused?

Brook had many opportunities to fight the bigger names. It is the typical name dropping to get cheap recognition. Alongside his injuries that have laid him off also he slowly has painted himself out of the big picture.

In the end he can demand from his promoters who he would like to fight if the opportunity was present

I don't view Hearn a having really done anything bad to Brook first off. The biggest problem Brook has is he gots the IBF belt which is always making you fight bs mandatory's or they will strip your ass quick (just ask Tyson Fury). He would likely be in a better position if he had a different title where he could line up more meaningful opponents more often. That said I don't really think he's in a bad position right now. He's got some big fights ahead of him for sure imho. He just is pre-big fights right now (outside of Porter) so it looks worse than it is. I suspect you look at his resume 2yrs from now & there will be a entirely different outlook with how his career has progressed with a couple big fights on there.

I think Hearn and Haymon have a new fight agreement in place that should help with this. That partnership should make guys like Thurman, Garcia and Porter much easier to arrange fights with.

I'm hoping it's Garcia, but I believe a fight between the Thurman-Porter winner and Brook will happen this year.
