Yes, because Ward with a history of solid wins, and another great win over Kovalev is the same as Loma beating Gary Russel Jr. You must have known that was an awful comparison so it begs the question of why you'd post it. I realise this is only NSB so i'm not expecting some first class response, but come on.

Its your choice if you want to completely ignore Ward's past wins. Thats the nature of 'p4p' - it uses whatever criteria you want it to. To me, i'd have no issue in seeing him the best fighter in the world if he were to move up and dethrone the consensus light-heavyweight kingpin. His past wins paint him to be an extremely talented fighter, only second to Floyd during that time. Beating Kovalev (decisively) shows me he's still the same fighter, and honestly, there'd very little out there in terms of a challenger right now.. i'm not completely sold on Roman Gonzales.

They'd probably be #1 on most people's list and mine as well. I wouldn't complain though if they were #2 behind Gonzalez (if he beat Estrada/Inoue) or GGG (if he beat Canelo) on someone else's list.

None of those guys are truly world-class, Murray is the closest.

Murray and Lemieux are Golovkin's best wins.

Lemieux is NOT a world-class fighter, Murray could squeeze in, depending on your exact criteria.

Like I said not elite but definitely some quality in there, Geale was a former unified world champion, Murray is unlucky not to be a world champion, but really how many elite fighters are out there right now at 160??
