Arrogant or Humble Fighters? Which do you like more and why?

Well, personally I prefer a humble fighter who doesn't talk outside the ring much and can back up it up with actions.

Though I do find some arrogant fighters who brash and trash talk a lot seem to be hilarious and entertaining, but there is a point where they take it too far and knowing when to turn it off.

I would say I like humble fighters more _b

I like both. My favorites usually are guys who show both traits. Guys who can be entertaining, brash, and confident but also have the ability to show humility and respect are the best.

Both. But depends on the fighter. Broner is arrogant but he's so bad while Kovalev is likeable.

I'll say both, but I think there's a difference between being ****y and arrogant. ****y is entertaining, arrogance is annoying.

Arrogant because the most confident mother****ers tend to achieve more.

          Jack Johnson arrogant
          SRR arrogant
          Muhammad Ali arrogant
          SRL huge ego

          Mike Tyson self-described ego maniac

          RJJ huge ego

Floyd thought he was the greatest ever starting at age 15 lol

            that humility **** is overrated

It has no purpose beyond making fans comfortable asking for autograph

              A mix of both.

A sport needs a variety of characters to make it more interesting. If everyone was cookie-cutter nice guy the sport would be boring.

              We need bad guys

It depends, If you are arrogant and brash you need to at least be funny and/or clever with it and BACK IT UP.

For example, Ali was hated by many people in the 60's and 70's because people really did not like his arrogance.

Alot of his lines were stolen (apparently) but regardless he was extremely charismatic, witty and most importantly backed it up in the ring, incredibly even predicting the exact round he would win.

Then you have guy's like Prince naseem who were funny but mainly because we were laughing AT him, because of his ridiculous ego.
he was a clown but extremely entertaining and could back it up (bar MAB)

Nowadays we have Tyson fury and Conner mcgregor who are apparently the most 'charismatic' arrogant guy's in their respected sport's.

I honestly find them boring as hell, fury is more amusing then Mcgregor in more of a hamed type way, he's a clown but he doesn't really back up all his talk, he's feather fisted and boring to watch.

He's more like your mate down the pub who say's silly things, you laugh and call him an idiot.

I don't know if it's the nostalgia ( i just saw an Ali doc by chance earlier on TV) but today the arrogant guy's are just repeating pre prepared lines, wearing sunglasses indoor's telling us all how good/rich they are, and most people find that amazing.
                It's cliched and dull IMO.

Mostly humble but I don't mind confidence. I just don't like arrogance.

I like when guys know they are good but also know they don't need to tell us every 10 seconds. Ward had one of my favorite quotes during the super six. He said "I was raised not to call myself great. We let other people do that for us." If you are in fact great, people will notice, you don't have to keep reminding us.

I actually like McGregor while I find Tyson Fury weird and awkward as hell to watch.
