Its not about fighting at the MW limit. Its about not limiting your opponents to weigh in at the MW limit.

EXACTLY!!! No one is forcing him to fight at 160 but he holds the middleweight title which means he needs to accept it if a middleweight wants to weigh in as a middleweight! If not, strip his a$$. The sanctioning bodies (haha) couold easily put an end to catchweight "title" fights by stipulating that title fights must be contested with the limit of whatever that division is, i.e. no catchweight.

How can you call two MMA fighters hype jobs when the best fight the best in that sport. MMA has that edge over boxing, no ducking no terrible match making. Conor just fought two weight classes above his current one and gave great effort. Rousey dominated and ran into a stylistic nightmare. What fighters in mma do is something boxing has been missing for a long time. Canelo draining fighters is pathetic, he learned from the Floyd fight. Floyd drained him to nothing and so the virus carries on.
